Bierabsatz sinkt 2010 auf 98,3 Millionen Hektoliter

In Deutschland haben Brauereien und Bierlager im Jahr 2010 98,3 Millionen Hektoliter Bier abgesetzt. Nach Angaben des Statistischen Bundesamtes sind das rund 1,7 Millionen Hektoliter oder 1,7 Prozent weniger als im Vorjahr. Biermischungen machten 2010 mit 4,0 Millionen Hektolitern rund 4 Prozent des gesamten Bierabsatzes aus.

Gegenüber dem Jahr 2009 setzten die Brauereien davon 2,7 Prozent weniger ab. 84,8 Prozent des gesamten Bierabsatzes waren 2010 für den Inlandsverbrauch bestimmt und wurden versteuert. Der steuerfreie Absatz von Bier (Exporte und Haustrunk) betrug 14,9 Millionen Hektoliter (+ 5,9 Prozent). Der Bierabsatz war 2010 in Nordrhein-Westfalen mit einem Anteil von 24,7 Prozent und Bayern mit 21,9 Prozent am höchsten. Den höchsten Bierabsatz über die bundesdeutschen Grenzen hinweg erzielten dagegen die Brauereien oder Bierlager mit Sitz in Niedersachsen oder Bremen mit einem Anteil von 31,1 Prozent.
